Hi! I'm Jennifer Doyle. I'm a freelance transcript proofreader for court reporters.
Want a reliable, skilled proofreader who can work with your deadlines? Great! You're in the right place. With over 15 years of experience working in various editorial capacities as a proofreader, editor, and copywriter, I can help you produce a polished transcript. I've completed Transcript Proofreading: Theory and Practice™, a rigorous course designed to teach the specialized skills needed for proofreading transcripts.
In the past several years, I've had some pretty cool work-related experiences. Way back in 2009 I made the Babble.com top 10 list of funniest mom bloggers. Eventually Babble.com hired me as a freelance writer for their Babble Voices series, and I had the opportunity to work on some fun national campaigns including Disney, Pillsbury (hello, free brownies!), and Old Navy. In 2011 I took a major leap and started my own hyperlocal website focusing on activities and events for families in Knoxville, Tennessee, until my husband's job moved our family to Illinois. Once settled in Illinois, I went to work at the local community college as a proofreader, copywriter, and social media manager. Finally, in 2018 I started this business, becoming a full-time proofreader for court reporters. All of these work experiences have prepared me to work on short deadlines, pay close attention to details, and honor confidentiality agreements.
Let me put my skills to work for you! Contact me anytime with questions, requests, or even just to chat.
